Jump in to Support the Special Olympics
Take One for the Team and Join the Fresno Polar Plunge on March 18th!
Merced, CA -02/28/2023 – Centurion and Supreme Boats has registered a team for this year’s Fresno Special Olympics Polar Plunge fundraising event on March 18th. Team members pledge to raise $125 (including a $25 entry fee) each and can get their feet wet or make a more traditional plunge into the water at the Fresno Polar Plunge on Saturday, March 18th at Millerton Lake. All proceeds from this fun event go to support the Special Olympics of Northern California.
While taking a dip is traditional, participants can opt to stay completely dry and still support the event by making a donation. Confirmed Supreme Team of Centurion participants for this year’s event include two brave employees – Finance Manager Raakesh Gupta, who thought this “seemed like something different and fun,” to do, and IT Technician Aaron Brown, who was also motivated to “try something new,” as well as “give something back to others.” There’s no indication either has trained for the event, and we suspect they will be in for a bracing surprise on March 18th! Support these two good sports in a good cause by donating.
The Supreme Team of Centurions is currently near the top of the Fundraising Leaderboard, but you know we would love to be number one!
We invite you to join our team – as a donor, as a participant, as a supporter who shows up to cheer on those courageous enough to get fully immersed. We love supporting the Special Olympics, which creates life-changing programs in sports, health, education, and athlete leadership for people with intellectual disabilities. Not only is it a great cause, but it’s also FUN!
