SEWARD PARK, WA (JULY 13, 2019) – The 2019 Supreme Northwest Wake Surf Open, hosted by Lynnwoord Motoplex, wrapped up Saturday afternoon with a flurry of action as surfers made their final run of the two-day event. The Washington leg of the Water Proof Tour, sponsored by Roswell Marine, featured plenty of incredible efforts from riders on day one (which you can read about here) setting up an exciting finish on day two. The Supreme ZS232 was exceptional and gave riders a massive wave which provided not only solid push, but enough space to nail many of the difficult tricks attempted. Centurion Boats team rider and former world champion Ashley Kidd commented, “It was so much fun, the wave is the perfect shape. I landed most of my tricks, so it was a good day!” Ashley’s day got even better as she went on to take first in the Female Pro Surf division. Ashley wasn’t the only Centurion Boats team rider who podiumed as Connor Burns also took first in his division Male Pro Surf, in addition, Jake Breedlove took second in Male Pro Surf, Jarret Scribner took second in Male Pro Skim, and Sara Tallon took 3rd in Female Pro Skim. Centurion and Supreme family members Brandon Tolliver, Holly Allaire, Evan Hudson, and Sammy Goncalves also graced the podium stage taking second in Male Outlaw Swim, third in Female Masters Skim, first in Male Amateur Skim, and first in Male Amateur Surf respectively.
There were smiles all day around the Supreme tent during the competition as VIPs returned from demo rides on new Supreme models. It’s hard not to have fun when you’re shredding the strongest wave in wake surfing. After the dust settled the results were posted and riders appeared at the podium during awards. See top three surfers in each division below and find full results on the CWSA website.
